DIY Necklace Hanger

Happy Thursday everyone. My two year old started preschool yesterday and I spend way too much time at Hobby Lobby :) I actually have a list of projects that I would love to do and are determined to do so when my guy is in preschool.
This Necklace Hanger is one of them. I like my Necklaces to be displayed in my closet so I can see what shirt works with what necklace:)

This is what you will need:
  • A wood Board (at Hobby Lobby) but if you have a panel lying around in your house it will do
  • doorknobs ( on sale at Hobby Lobby) Also Anthropology has nice ones and they usually are on sale
  • acrylic paint ( I used grey and white)
  • super glue
Paint the Wood Panel/Board and let it dry. In the meantime take doorknobs and take screw out. I had to use pliers and a little umpf (muscle). I got this little antique looking wood piece (on top) and painted it white. Then glue door knobs on and vola' you are done. I hung mine with those hanging Velcro strips in my closet.

Happy crafting
